THE PACK HORSE ROUTES OF SILKSTONE

For hundreds of years goods have been transported around the country. Businesses have
required raw materials, as well as a way of getting finished goods away to customers, both
locally and across the country. We are fortunate that Silkstone was at the crossroads of
routes radiating north to south and west to east.
